6. Registration as a Member
If You wish to register as a Member, KMB requires:
(i) That You have successfully registered as a Guest and continue to meet the requirements of Guest registration as set out in clause 5 above; (ii) That You provide KMB with details of a valid credit or debit card for which You have authorisation and authority to use legally and which is acceptable to KMB; (iii) That You authorise KMB to collect the amount of selected Subscription fee from this card by monthly payments; (iv) That the information You provide is true, accurate and contains no omissions; (v) That You agree to all the terms and conditions contained herein; and (vi) That the application is in all respects acceptable to KMB at its sole discretion.
KMB offers a Subscription at a cost of £7.50 per month. This monthly fee is inclusive of Value Added Tax and will be collected on the same date each month (where possible) as the first payment.
You will be charged a monthly Subscription fee of seven pounds and fifty pence (£7.50) and thus maintain Your Membership. You hereby authorise KMB to take these monthly payments from Your authorised payment details. Your Membership will continue to be renewed on a monthly basis until You give KMB notice that You wish to cancel Your Membership. This notice must be provided in writing or by email to KMB at least seven (7) Days before the next monthly payment is due to be taken.
The payment details provided by You will be stored by KMB for the duration of Your Subscription, and used for subsequent transactions where necessary.
7. Cancellation of Membership
If You do not wish to continue Your Membership then You must inform KMB of this at least seven (7) Days before Your next Subscription payment is due in writing or by email.
If You cancel Your Membership, Your registration will revert to Guest status.
8. Contracts for Sale & Rental
A contract is only created between You and KMB when KMB confirms Your order. KMB can decide at its sole discretion whether it wishes to enter into contracts with You. Placing an order with KMB does not constitute a legally binding contract; the contract is only created when Your offer is accepted by KMB. KMB retains the right to refuse to accept any orders at its sole discretion.
Guests and Members are able to purchase Products supplied by KMB. To the best of KMB’s knowledge the Products available for purchase from KMB are authentic and new or “like new[CB2] ”.
Members may rent Products supplied by KMB for a Rental Period set out in Annex A to this contract. To the best of KMB’s knowledge the Products available for rental from KMB are authentic and in either new or “like new” condition. The Rental Period begins on the day the Product is delivered to You by the Carrier and ends on the day before the Product is passed by You to the agreed Carrier for return to KMB.
You are responsible for the collection of the Product when delivered; if the Carrier attempts to deliver the Product and You are unable to collect it, this is solely Your responsibility and the start of Your Rental Period. It is Your sole responsibility to ensure that the Products are returned to KMB by the date notified by KMB.
This Rental Period can be extended a maximum of twice if You so request at the discretion of KMB. Initially, You will be limited to the rental of one (1) Product at any given time. If You have used the Service for more than ninety (90) Days and wish to rent more than one Product at a time, You must contact KMB at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it . The decision to allow You to rent more than one Product at any given time is at the sole discretion of KMB.
Members (but not Guests) who rent a Product from KMB have the option to purchase that Product during the Rental Period at a discount to the RRP of the Product. Please contact KMB for details.
9. Insurance
Where Products are rented, these Products are automatically insured against any “wear and tear” arising from normal use to the value of one-hundred pounds (£100) for the duration of the Rental Period. This insurance does not cover theft or loss. Additional insurance can be purchased at the time of rental at a daily rate. If You choose to purchase extra insurance, You must purchase a period of insurance that corresponds to the period of rental.
10. Payment
In order to purchase or rent a Product from KMB, or to become a Member of KMB, You are required to supply KMB with details of a valid credit or debit card from which You authorise KMB to take agreed payments. You hereby warrant that the credit or debit card details You supply to KMB are true and accurate, that You specifically authorise KMB to charge, including but not limited to, Membership fees, purchases, rentals, insurance, postal costs and replacement fees to this card and that You have the legal authority to grant such authorisation.
By supplying KMB with said card details, You expressly authorise KMB to run any credit checks or similar that KMB, at its sole discretion, deems necessary. You further expressly authorise KMB, where it considers necessary, to send information to, or to obtain information from, third parties about You in order to, amongst other things, authenticate Your identity, validate Your credit or debit card, obtain an initial credit or debit card authorisation and authorise individual purchase transactions, so far as is necessary for those purposes.
KMB may, at its sole discretion, request identification from You to confirm Your identity and Your ability to authorise use of the credit or debit card provided to KMB. Further, KMB is entitled to require You to fax a copy of a signed purchase order with Your credit or debit card details to KMB for any transaction. KMB also reserves the right to inquire as to Your credit-worthiness from credit rating agencies if KMB deems it necessary. Where KMB is not satisfied as to Your identity, or any other factor, KMB reserves the right to refuse to process an order from You. If KMB has already received payment pursuant to this order, KMB shall endeavour to return the payment to You within fourteen (14) working days.
Should the details You provide be inaccurate, or payment is declined from the card You have provided, You hereby undertake to fulfil payment of all amounts owed to KMB. KMB reserves the right to take any necessary steps to collect these unpaid amounts, including but not limited to the use of third party collection agencies. If KMB, at its sole discretion, deems it necessary to use such third party agencies, then You agree to be liable for any fees KMB occurs by doing so.
You are solely responsible for any charges against the credit or debit card You provide. You will not hold KMB responsible for any charges You incur due to payments made to KMB, such as for example overdraft fees. Should You experience a problem or discrepancy with a bill from KMB, You agree to bring this to the attention of KMB within sixty (60) Days of it occurring. If You fail to do so, You waive any rights to dispute said problem or discrepancy.
